5/ Practice skills

After Training, you will get rusty, so practice!
• Share air, donate your alternate reg
• Remove and replace your mask
• Dump weight at the surface (your own, your buddy’s)
• Find your regulator: ‘reach behind your head method’


WORK ON YOUR AIR CONSUMPTION
• Relax, good trim and buoyancy, correct your kick
• Breath slowly from the abdomen

REDUCE YOUR WEIGHT
  • as your breathing and buoyancy skills improve, try less weight

BUOYANCY SKILLS:
  • try new things and improve your buoyancy skill:
    • hover in different positions
    • can you lie still in the water upside down without trouble?
