Overview
Meno Wall is a steep drop-off near the western shore of Gili Meno. It drops from a shallow sandy plateau down into the deeper channel, providing a home to an incredible array of marine life.
What you’ll see
It is famous for its resident turtles that sleep on the coral ledges. As you drift along the wall, keep an eye out into the blue for passing pelagics, and inspect the crevices for hidden macro critters like nudibranchs and leaf scorpionfish.
The Dive Experience
The dive starts with a drop onto a shallow sandy plateau before kicking out towards the lip of the wall. As you descend along the sheer drop-off, you’ll be treated to excellent visibility. The wall is deeply undercut in places, creating ledges where numerous green and hawksbill turtles can be found resting. The current generally drifts you gently along the wall, making it easy to observe the macro life hiding in the gorgonian fans.
Getting There
Just a 5 to 10-minute boat ride from Gili Trawangan or Gili Meno.
